{cigar} was written by david. it was written a little bit after elch first tried their hand at softer music, and this song was written as a sort of reconciliation between the noisy and more melodic elements of elch. the result was something that sounds surprisingly...psychedelic? i don't know, the guitar tone inspired the whole song, and even though it's kind of cheesy sounding, we ultimately all ended up liking this song quite a bit.
