about

{hospital gown} was written by ryan. this album was initially going to be just {staples} and {comforting complacency}, but david later wanted to expand the release to include more stand-alone songs. the idea was to have each member write a short song by themselves and then we would put them on the album without playing them live first. the album took much longer to release than expected, and this song ended up being debuted at the album's release show.
